Roseneath Wilds

Future Wildlife Nature Preserve

What is Roseneath Wilds

A little bit of background...
Started in April 2021 - Roseneath Wilds dreams of being a nature preserve in Roseneath, Umkomaas in South Africa. The land was purchased with the vision of creating a safe space to conserve and protect South African Wildlife from vervet monkeys to duiker, reptiles and everything in between.

Roseneath Wilds will hopefully become home to a few wildlife organizations that want to save wildlife and will also be safe release site or sanctuary location.

We also aim to keep the area free of any alien invasive plants and promote any indigenous vegetation.

You can get involved by donating, offering services / expertise or volunteer work on the land.

We care about South African Wildlife at Roseneath Wilds.

Future Plans

This is where we are headed with some of the future ideas for the land

Animal Release Site

We have already networked with a few local animal rescuers to create a safe release site for rehabilitated or releasable wildlife.

Indigenous Nursery

Our goal is to work with local communities to setup an indigenous nursery.

Wildlife Rehabilitation

We will be a safe space for any wildlife rehabilitation centre to work from.

Eco Houses

Build some eco friendly houses for onsite volunteers, investors, guests, innovators, sweat equity.

Biking & Hiking Trails

There is an awesome amount of space to create trails and tracks

Eco Toilets

Compostable Toilets seem to be the future unless there are other better ideas.
