2 x Security Boom Gate

With the two entrances into Roseneath Wilds, we are going to need to build two security boom Gates to stop the random flow of traffic onto the land, which is privately owned but not blocked off.. There have been lots of people driving down these roads to dump their bags of rubbish into the river or onto the banks in the bush. We have confronted many of these people and asked them why they are doing this. Most have responded that the river will wash their trash away !? Others have said the dump is too far or inconvenient for them yet they have driven all the way up the river on a dusty, bumpy dirt road to dump their trash. We are looking to put two times wooden security boom gates in that will hopefully stop the flow of traffic and dumping and also to start the first phase security for Roseneath Wilds. Some of the items that we are going to need for this projects are:

1. Gum poles –  such as the Old electricity ones karma 

2.Concrete and long nuts and bolts to install the Boom Gate. 

The idea is to use a counterweight on a heavy piece of wood on one side of the boom. As drawn here:
