The Wandering Glider is one of the most widespread dragonfly species. It is common near most waterbodies across Africa and its range extends to Asia, Australia and the Americas. It is a common species and is considered of Least Concern on the IUCN.
The dragonfly is up to about 4.5 cm long with a wingspan of between 7.2 cm and 8.4 cm.
